About Us

When DeWayne Clevenger was a teenager in high school, one of his teachers suggested he interview for a job at a local jewelry store. He got the position on the spot in 1984. Fast-forward to today, and DeWayne has been in the jewelry business for 35 years.

In 2008, DeWayne opened his own store, Clevenger Jewelry & Gifts, after working in retail for several years prior. He wanted to be able to build a deeper connection with customers, beyond just repairing jewelry. He enjoys the idea and feeling of building a relationship with his customers and providing the best service possible. That feeling is his drive and motivation and has led to his business’s success. We are proud to have won several People’s Choice Awards for Favorite Jewelry Store from the Greenwood Commonwealth, most recently in 2018!
